About RightsTech Women:
RightsTech Women is a nonprofit association based in Geneva. Our mission is to advance the human rights of women and girls in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). We are currently looking for a Baking Volunteer.

Tasks of the Baking Volunteer:

  • To bake cookies, pastries, etc. for our fundraising events in Geneva.
  • To transport, set up and if possible help to sell the baked goods at our upcoming bake sales.

 

Prerequisites and competencies required:

  • You have a passion for baking as well as strong baking skills.
  • You’re a self-starter and an enthusiastic team player.
  • You’re reliable, punctual and strongly motivated to help with our mission.
  • Age: 18+

 

Resources required:

  • We are asking Volunteer Bakers, who are able to, to buy their own baking supplies. But if you aren’t in a position do that and still want to help with baking, let us know!
  • You might need an oven. You can use yours, or ours if necessary.
  • Must have a functioning internet connection through which to communicate with the team

 

Other requirements:

  • must already be present in Geneva, in possession of a Swiss residence permit valid for the duration of the volunteer position; and,
  • must already have her or his own valid Swiss health insurance for the duration of the volunteer position.
